ROTLA debuts on Distant Future with "Freeze", a track equally inspired by classic jazz-funk Rhodes solos, IDM Incunabula electronica and futuristic stutters.
The track is then transported to other jazzy jungle, electro and Elektron territories, respectively by fellow Distant Future artists JFrank, Intelligenza Artigianale, Büromaschinen and from ROTLA himself, this time using the Raiders of the Lost ARP alias in a driving 4/4 mix.
The Distant Future Sessions series will see different DF artists reinterpreting each other's works, exploring the variety of influences that permeate the label's sound.
